Jaw jaw

Edmontosaurus is a very efficient eater -its well-adapted jaws can chew through just about anything. They are hinged so they can move both up and down and side to side, allowing the dinosaur to grind up pretty much everything between its cheek teeth. This includes tough bits such as pine needles, which most herbivores have to leave - very handy if you spend a lot of time on the move.
